Welcome to Lake City Anglers

Nestled in the scenic foothills of the North Georgia mountains, LCA is proud to call Acworth, Georgia home. Known as “The Lake City,” Acworth sits between the sparkling waters of Lake Allatoona and Lake Acworth, offering some of the finest freshwater fishing in the region.

This area is rich in history—originally settled by the Cherokee Nation, it later became the city of Andersonville before being renamed Acworth in 1843 by railroad engineer Joseph L. Gregg, who honored his hometown of Acworth, New Hampshire.

Our Approach to Tournaments & Conservation

We proudly embrace a team tournament format per boat, encouraging anglers to fish together and compete as a unit. This format strengthens camaraderie and makes each outing more enjoyable. In addition, we’re committed to protecting our local fisheries through the Catch, Weigh, and Release system—ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same incredible fishing experiences we do today.

At LCA, we’re more than just a tournament bass fishing club—we’re a community built on friendship, family, and a shared passion for fishing. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just getting started, our club is a place to learn, grow, and support one another. We believe in sharing knowledge, encouraging each other, and making every trip to the water a memorable one.
