MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES SEPTEMBER 2025

The Lake City Anglers met for our September 2025 regular monthly session on September 2, 2025 virtually online. There were 6 people attending:  Andy Shields, Danny Peter, Dean McCord, Alan Buckner, Hunter Howard, and Todd McKinley.  Club President Andy Sheilds called the meeting to order and the following business was transacted:

Prayer List: Dean McCord 

At the present time, all members are doing well to our knowledge.

Welcome & Introduction of Guests 

No guests were present at this meeting.

Membership

Brendon Long will not be re-upping for the present.  We will welcome Brendon back and wish him the best. We continue to have openings for boaters and non-boaters should anyone know of a person who might want to fish with us. 

Minutes of August 2025 Meeting

The August 2025 minutes were approved.

Treasurer’s Report for September 2025: Alan Buckner

            Club Balance:                    $ 1704.38

Tournament Director Pairing Roll Call:  Hunter Howard

1.    Hunter did the pairings; we will have 4 boats for the Carter’s Tournament.

2.    Ramp used will be DAM ramp

3.    This tournament will be using our new TEAM FORMAT.

4.    Catch, take a picture of fish on the scale, and release.

5.    Weigh-in will be each team announcing their weights.

6.    We will be using WEIGHT, so you can weigh in any fish that weighs ONE POUND.  No Limit Restrictions

7.    Bring $50 CASH to the tournament for entry fee.

8.    A complete TEAM format document will be sent by Alan

Old Business:

1.    Insurance Forms for ALL BOATERS must be sent to Alan Buckner show your boat insurance  declaration page

2.     We must assure we have RELEASE OF LIABILITY forms for each member

New Business:

  1. Election of Officers
  2. We decided to move future elections until December 2025, which means current officers will hold their positions until then.
  3. We will add a Sergeant at Arms position. Election TBD.
  4. TEAM TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
  1. Lake selection will be determined at the club meeting a month prior, which means e selected our October tournament.  
  2. Lake for October is LANIER.
  3. Our December tournament was moved to December 13 (was December 20)
  1. The winners of the August tournament:
  1. First Place and Big Fish: Dean McCord
  2. Second Place: Danny Peter

No further business, the meeting was adjourned.  Next meeting October 1, 2025.
